FIELD: electrical equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a device for controlled maintenance of a constant gas-discharge lamp and a gas-discharge lamp. Device includes transformer (11) transformer (14) core, wherein transformer core (11) is designed to connect at least one connecting wire (4, 6), through which discharge current of gas-discharge lamp is supplied, as primary winding (12, 13). Transformer (14) serves as a source of energy for heating of functional area (22) of the gas-discharge lamp, on which the operation of this gas-discharge lamp depends, and wherein functional zone is formed by amalgam reservoir (22). Device also comprises secondary winding (16) on transformer core (11) and means (19) for controlling temperature of energy, which heats amalgam tank (22). This means that means (19) for temperature control is electrically connected to secondary winding (16).
EFFECT: technical result is increase in lamp reliability.
