FIELD: wireless communication networks.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to wireless communication networks and, in particular, to uplink split bearer channel configuration for UE. According to one aspect, a UE in a configuration of an uplink split bearer channel is configured to transmit a PDU through a first RLC entity through a first uplink transmission path and / or through a second RLC entity through a second uplink transmission path. UE determines the full value of the data volume from the PDCP data volume and the RLC data volume waiting for the initial transmission in the two RLC entities. UE makes a decision whether sending of PDCP data volume to any of two RLC objects or only to the first RLC object is allowed, on the basis of whether the full value of the data volume satisfies the first threshold. UE also reports the amount of PDCP data to both of the first and second uplink transmission paths or only to the first uplink transmission path, based on whether the full value of the data volume satisfies or exceeds the first threshold.

EFFECT: technical result is that UE pre-selects the route in which the PDCP PDU is located, regardless of whether UE has permission or not in that route.
