In the method, a monitoring unit is installed for transportation, and a control unit is installed on the railway crossing equipment; at prohibiting indication of crossing signalling control unit is switched to mode prohibiting passage of vehicle, establishing communication with monitoring unit approaching transport, after that, using a monitoring unit, a driver warning on prohibiting passage through the railway crossing is included; with the help of the monitoring unit the vehicle is fixed in the database when motor transport passes through railway crossing to prohibit indication of crossing signalling; using a database for processing and storing transmitted data, visualizing the movement of vehicles and the condition of crossing signalling in the area of railway crossing; using a monitoring unit and a control unit in constant mode, information is accumulated, which is transmitted to a database in definite time intervals, with the help of a control unit, information is transmitted to a database on its technical state.

EFFECT: higher traffic safety of road and railway transport at crossing of railway crossing.
