FIELD: traffic situation monitoring.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of control and monitoring of the traffic situation in the crossing area. In the method, a control unit is installed on the railway crossing equipment; in case of a prohibiting indication of the crossing signaling, the control unit is switched to the mode prohibiting the passage of the vehicle, when vehicles pass through the railway crossing at the prohibiting indication of the crossing signaling, the violation is recorded in the database, using the database for processing and storing the transmitted data, the movement of vehicles and the state are visualized crossing signaling in the area of the railway crossing. While the fixation of the violation is carried out by a signal transmission device, which includes an electromagnetic motion sensor connected to the photofixation system and a radio modem connected to the control unit.
EFFECT: increased level of safety at railway crossings.
