FIELD: computer engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of warning at intersections of railway and automobile traffic. In the method, the width of the flooring blocks is selected so that a multiple number of blocks without gaps is laid in the intertrack space; installing flooring units on railway crossing, pressure sensor is placed in flooring units consisting of elastic material; placing metal contacts of the pressure sensor on the protrusions of the flooring unit on both sides for connection with subsequent flooring units; connecting in-series flooring units through metal contacts; in the presence of a vehicle at the crossing, an electrical signal generated by the weight of the vehicle is read from the flooring units pressure sensors; controller fixes total electric signal generated by in-series connected flooring units pressure sensors, on which the vehicle located at the railway crossing exerts pressure; transmitting the electrical signal generated by the series-connected flooring unit pressure sensors to the controller; alarm signal is sent, in case of closed controlled crossing or in all cases for uncontrolled crossing, from controller through controller output to siren or through communication lines, including wireless ones, to train driver, robotic train control system, dispatcher or camera for photo and video recording of violations when the vehicle is on a closed controlled crossing.
EFFECT: enabling generation of an automatic signal for warning of an emergency exit of a motor vehicle to a railway crossing.
