FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to regeneration of used lubricating oils and can be used, in particular, for regeneration of spent fire-resistant turbine lubricating oils at thermal power plants (TPP) and nuclear power plants (NPP). Method of regenerating used lubricating oil comprises successive steps: step of adding 5% aqueous Na2CO3 solution to used lubricating oil and their mixing at temperature of 50-56°C; a step of cooling the obtained mixture to room temperature with subsequent separation of the aqueous layer from the organic layer; a step of extracting organic layer with water; a step of adding anhydrous Na2SO4 to the organic layer and mixing them; a step of obtaining a filtered organic layer by filtering the obtained mixture through a filter; stage, at which the filtered organic layer is subjected to vacuum distillation.
EFFECT: increased speed and efficiency of reduction of acid number of recovered used lubricating oil, efficient removal of mechanical impurities from regenerated used lubricating oil, reduced probability of accelerated degradation of recovered used lubricating oil during its cleaning, increased efficiency of moisture removal from regenerated used lubricating oil.
