FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to regeneration of used lubricating oils and can be used, in particular, for regeneration of spent fire-resistant turbine lubricating oils at thermal power plants (TPP). Method of regenerating used lubricating oil comprises the following sequential stages: step of heating regenerated lubricating oil to 60–80 °C; a step of mechanically filtering regenerated lubricating oil; a step of adsorptive purification of regenerated lubricating oil by reacting with an ion-exchange resin containing a tetraalkylammonium hydroxide, which is cross-linked to a copolymer of styrene and divinyl, with weight content of moisture of 25–50 % with simultaneous heating to 60–80 °C; a step of dehydrating the regenerated lubricating oil with simultaneous heating to 60–80 °C; stage, at which regenerated lubricating oil is filtered in centrifugal filter.

EFFECT: prevention of accelerated degradation of regenerated lubricating oil in process of its purification and provision of more effective reduction of acidity of regenerated used lubricating oil.
