SUBSTANCE: invention relates to versions of a method of producing a compound of formula [I], or a hydrate thereof, which can be used as inhibitors of pyruvate dehydrogenase. In one version, the method includes a step of converting a compound of formula [II], or a methanol solvate thereof, into a compound, represented by formula [IV], a coupling reaction with a compound of formula [III], in the presence of a palladium catalyst, an alkali metal carbonate and a carboxylic acid; a step for hydrolysis of the compound of formula [IV] described above to convert it into a compound represented by formula [V] and a step for reacting the compound of formula [V] described above with ammonia in the presence of a condensing agent. Invention also relates to intermediate compounds of formulas [IV], [II], [IIm], [III] and to a method of producing a compound of formula [IV].
EFFECT: disclosed is a method of producing a pyrazolamide compound.
