SUBSTANCE: invention relates to biotechnology and concerns a novel avian influenza virus strain type A subtype H9 family Orthomyxoviridae, genus Alphainfluenzavirus, deposited in FGBU "VNIIZZH" collection under registration number: N113 - dep / 19-3 - Collections of strains of microorganisms FGBU "VNIIZHZ". Presented strain reproduced in 10-day old embryonated SPF chicken hens, where it reaches the infectious titer of at least 10.13 lg EID₅₀/cm³. In the composition of the inactivated vaccine, the strain exhibits evident antigenic and immunogenic properties, inducing production of specific antibodies trapped in ELISA and HIR.

EFFECT: presented strain can be used for controlling antigenic and immunogenic activity of avian influenza vaccines and for making biopreparations for diagnosis and specific prevention of avian influenza type A subtype H9.
