FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a new strain of influenza virus type A subtype H5 fam. Orthomyxoviridae of Alphainfluenzavirus genus deposited in the All-Russian State Collection of Exotic Types of FMD Viruses and Other Animal Pathogens (GKSHM) of the Federal State Budgetary Institution "ARRIAH" under registration number: No. 366-dep/20-28-GKSHM of the FSBI "ARRIAH". The proposed strain is reproduced in 9-11-day-old chicken embryos SPF chickens, where it reaches an infectious titer of at least 8.2 lg EID50/cm3. As part of an inactivated vaccine, the strain has pronounced antigenic and immunogenic properties, causing the production of specific antibodies captured in RTHA.
EFFECT: strain presented can be used for the manufacture of biological products for the specific prevention of avian influenza type A subtype H5.
