FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medical equipment, namely to an ingrown nail correction device which corrects an ingrown toe nail. Ingrown nail correction device is attached to the free edge of the nail for the ingrown nail correction containing the main correcting element, the support tube and the clamping part. Main correcting element has length in longitudinal direction, which is equal to or larger than width of free edge of nail, using material having elasticity, providing creation of repulsive force, counteracting force in bending direction. Supporting tube has an axis parallel to the longitudinal direction of the main correcting element. Main correcting element is inserted with the possibility of free sliding in its longitudinal direction parallel to the axis of the support tube. Clamping part comprises fixing plate, support plate, channel for insertion and connecting part. Fixing plate has one of ends protruding for attachment to support tube, with direction of width parallel to axis of support tube. Support plate faces the fixing plate and is located at a distance from it in direction of the thickness of the fixing plate. Direction of width of the support plate is parallel to the axis of the support tube. Channel for insertion is fixed between fixing plate and end part of support plate on side of support tube. Connecting part connects the fixing plate and the support plate in the protruding side end part of the fixing plate and has resilience providing creation of repulsive force, counteracting force in direction, in which support plate is separated from fixing plate at expansion of channel for insertion.
EFFECT: use of invention enables to prevent nail cracking during attachment, to ensure matching of nail width values in different people, support position of attachment to the free edge of the nail and enable normal correction of ingrown nails with simultaneous support of the attachment position.
