FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine and microbiology and can be used for long-term storage of mycobacteria leprosy Mycobacterium leprae. Method envisages preparation of the Mycobacterium suspension leprae of the infected material - leproma of leprosy patients, mice infected in an intrapartmental mice. That is followed by centrifugation of mycobacterium leprosy suspension to be stored at 1000 rpm and drying in sterile conditions at temperature of 22 °C to 25 °C for 1 day with subsequent storage under the same conditions.
EFFECT: invention allows providing long-term storage of mycobacteria of leprosy and simplifying it.
