METHOD FOR DIFFERENTIATION OF ENDOMETRIOSIS CENTERS OF DIFFERENT LOCALIZATION BY DIRECT MASS SPECTROMETRY Russian patent published in 2020 - IPC G01N30/72

Abstract RU 2737224 C1

FIELD: medicine; gynecology.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for differentiation of endometriosis centers of different localization by lipid composition of tissue. For this purpose within 5 minutes by method of direct mass-spectrometry define lipid profile of tissue with accuracy of not more than 5 ppm without preliminary preparation of sample, using OPLS-DA method and using OPLS model based on levels of following lipids: phosphatidylcholines (PC 38:4, PC 36:3, PC 36:4, PC 38:3, PC 38:5, PC 0–38:5, PC 36:1), ethanolamines (PE 0–36:5, PE 36:4, PE 36:1, PE 0–38:6, PE 0–38:5, PE 38:5, PE 0–40:5, PE 40:7) and sphingomyelins (SM 34:1, SM 36:1, SM 34:2, SM 42:3, SM 42:2), estimated parameter (EP) is calculated by proposed formula. If value 1<EP<0, the conclusion is made that the given tissue is a source of endometriosis, if value 0<EP<1, the given tissue is an eutopic endometrium.

EFFECT: method enables high-accuracy differentiation of endometriosis centers of different localization within 5 minutes without preliminary preparation of the sample.
