FIELD: railway automatics.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of railway automation and can be used for traffic control. Method is based on control of voltages of receiving ends of track lines, where at one end voltage of tone frequency is supplied, and on the other one voltage value is measured at the moment of occupation of previous track line and free state of next track line, measured voltage value is taken as reference Uref, based on which threshold voltages of occupation and release of track line are determined, when train enters railway line, computer calculates normal curves of dependencies of voltages of receiving ends of free and serviceable track lines from standard shunt coordinate up to obstacle, occupied or faulty track line, track section with unknown route, taking into account insulation resistance, length of track line, and also calculates curve of maximum allowable voltage, which is higher than standard by 5 %, and curve of minimum allowable voltage, which is below standard is also by 5 %, if actual curve of dependence of voltage of receiving end of track line is laid between allowable limit values, device for monitoring conditions of track lines is correct, otherwise, the track state monitoring system is switched off, wherein the section occupancy is recorded.

EFFECT: higher reliability of monitoring conditions of track lines.
