FIELD: packaging industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a system for production of workpieces for boxes and a method of converting folded sheet material into workpieces for boxes. Method and system for making workpieces for boxes comprises a converting element configured to convert folded sheet material into boxes, wherein when performing said sheet material conversion, sheet material feed direction through converting element of said system extends along axis located at an angle to floor plane, on which there is system, wherein said angle is from 20° up to 90°.
EFFECT: invention provides easier direction of sheet material, and also provides a more efficient printing system, which is less subject to problems caused by dirt and dust covering the printing heads.
