SUBSTANCE: invention relates to downhole pump unit (1) and method of its operation. Unit comprises submersible pump (2) with housing (3) and sensor capsule (4) with hermetically sealed housing (5), in which sensor capsule (4) is detachably installed in sensor position (6), located on outer surface (7) of housing (3) of submersible pump (2). Submersible pump (2) comprises primary coil (8) inside housing (3), and capsule (4) of sensor comprises secondary coil (9) inside casing (5). Primary coil (8) and secondary coil (9) are made with possibility of inductive connection to each other for wireless transmission of data and / or power through housing (3) and casing (5), when sensor capsule (4) is installed in position of sensor (6). High pressure of fluid medium, mechanical stress and / or heating is maintained.
EFFECT: can provide improved wireless communication between components during operation of submersible pump assembly.
