SUBSTANCE: invention relates to communication systems. Technical result of the proposed technical solution is achieved by the fact that it is possible to transmit a message with the help of user equipment into an element or functional unit of a communication network, which contains one or more confidentiality indicators, based on which confidentiality signs are determined for message processing. Message may contain a connection request including a subscription identifier for a subscriber associated with user equipment, together with privacy indicators containing a flag indicating whether the subscription identifier in the connection request is secure in terms of confidentiality.
EFFECT: technical result is higher level of security of communication systems.
