Method of making sheet steel with immersion into molten metal with a zinc coating or on an aluminum base involves A) obtaining sheet steel characterized by the following composition, wt%: 0.05 ≤ C ≤ 0.20; 1.5 ≤ Mn ≤ 3.0; 0.10 ≤ Si ≤ 0.45; 0.10 ≤ Cr ≤ 0.60; Al ≤ 0.20; V < 0.005 and optionally one or more elements, such as P < 0.04; Nb ≤ 0.05; B ≤ 0.003; Mo ≤ 0.20; Ni ≤ 0.1; Ti ≤ 0.06; S ≤ 0.01; Cu ≤ 0.1; Co ≤ 0.1; N ≤ 0.01; remaining iron and unavoidable impurities, B) recrystallization annealing of sheet steel in furnace and C) application of coating on annealed sheet steel by its immersion into bath with melt on base of zinc or on base of aluminum.
