SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to an aerosol-generating device comprising an induction heater for heating an aerosol-forming substrate. Device comprises an induction heater for heating the aerosol-forming substrate. Induction heater comprises induction coil and heating element. Heating element can be arranged in induction coil. Induction coil has a side opening along the induction coil longitudinal length. Side opening is configured to provide access to the heating element. Aerosol-generating device additionally comprises a body. Induction coil is arranged in the housing. Housing has side opening, which corresponds to side opening of induction coil in housing.
EFFECT: technical result is that heating element can be easily accessible for cleaning or replacement.
