FIELD: aerosol generators of the device.

SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to an aerosol generating device comprising an induction heater for heating an aerosol-generating substrate. Induction heater includes inductance coil and heating element, which can be arranged inside inductance coil. Aerosol generating device also comprises a housing with a first housing part and a second housing part. First part of the housing contains a power supply source to supply power to the induction coil of the induction heater and a controller to control supply of power from the power supply to the coil of inductance of the induction heater. In the second part of the housing there is an induction coil of the induction heater, and the second part of the housing is configured to accommodate a consumable part enclosing the aerosol-forming substrate. First and second housing parts are arranged with the possibility of being placed in the first position, in which it is possible to actuate the induction heater, and first and second housing parts are made with possibility of displacement into second position, wherein the heating element is made so that it is possible to access the heating element in the second position.

EFFECT: disclosed is an aerosol-generating device.
