FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely pediatric surgery and pediatric urology – andrology. Factors significantly influencing development of obstructive complications in postoperative period in conducting endoplasty of ureter mouth in children. It involves ultrasonic examination with a diuretic load from the initial level and degree of vesicoureteral reflux by the results of the mictorial cystography and percentage of the ureter and renal pelvis enlargement. Linear regression coefficient is then calculated by formula: yi=0.2273-0.1057⋅x1i+3.3867⋅x3i, where yi is a linear regression coefficient – occurrence of obstruction, x1i – degree of vesicoureteral reflux, x3i is the percentage of ureter and renal pelvis expansion accompanying ultrasonic examination with a diuretic load from the initial level. Thus, if yi is a value >0.5, the likelihood of developing obstructive complications after endoplasty ureteral orifice using polyacrylate polyalcohol Vantris is high and endoplasty is not indicated for the patient. If yi has a value <0.5, then the probability of onset obstructive complications following endoplasty of the ureter mouth with the use of Vantris polyacrylate polyalcohol is low and the patient may undergo endoscopic treatment of vesicoureteral reflux. Method has high statistical significance and can be used in any medical institution.

EFFECT: method enables predicting the development of obstructive complications following endoplasty of the ureter mouth in children using volumetric substances in the surgical treatment of vesicoureteral reflux in children.
