FIELD: biochemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to Cry1B polypeptide, which has high insecticidal activity. Also disclosed is a polynucleotide encoding said polypeptide; a DNA construct comprising said polynucleotide; a host cell expressing said polynucleotide; transgenic plant, seed, composition containing said polypeptide. Disclosed are methods of destruction of lepidopterous pest; protecting a plant from an insect pest using said polypeptide; obtaining said polypeptide with insecticidal activity.
EFFECT: invention allows effective control of fall armyworm and antler moth.
