FIELD: gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a separation element intended for separation of fluid drops from gas and can be used in power engineering, ore-dressing, oil refining, petrochemical and chemical industry. Separation element comprises vertically oriented housing in the form of shell and flow swirler arranged inside it. Swirler of flow is made of radial inclined blades arranged around central axis. Each blade of the swirler contains deflecting elements.
EFFECT: the design of the separation element is simplified while maintaining its efficiency in trapping moisture droplets, high reliability due to reduced tendency to overgrowing with deposits and easy cleaning.
