FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to X-ray diagnostics, and can be used for detection of non-diagnosed X-ray injuries of anterior semi-ring and middle part of pelvic ring in patients with pubic bone fractures. A pelvis is X-rayed in posterior projection. Width of pubic bone is determined by measuring distance between cortical layers of upper and lower surfaces of upper branch of pubic bone in fracture. If there is no displacement of pubic bone fragments or their displacement to half the width of pubic bone, the computed tomography of the pelvis is considered to be used to detect the damages of the front semi-ring and the middle part of the pelvic ring.

EFFECT: method provides higher accuracy of assessing the state of pubic bone after fracture, due to a differentiated approach to the appointment of computed tomography of pelvis, allowing to detect injuries of the front semi-ring and the middle part of the pelvic ring not diagnosed on an X-ray image with insignificant displacement of pubic bone fragments or absence of their displacement.
