FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to X-ray diagnostics, and can be used for detection of not diagnosed X-ray injuries of sacral bone in patients with pubic bone fractures. Pelvis is X-rayed in the posterior projection and the width of pubic bone is determined by measuring the distance between the cortical layers of the upper and lower surfaces of the upper branch of pubic bone within the fracture. Displacement of pubic bones is estimated. Patient's condition is determined by Pape-Krettek scheme. If observing absence of displacement of pubic bone fragments or their displacement to entire width of pubic bone, and critical state of patient according to Pape-Krettek scheme; or if observing a fracture of pubescent bones without displacement and an unstable patient's condition according to Pape-Krettek scheme, performing a computed tomography of the pelvis for detecting non-diagnosed X-ray injuries of the sacrum.

EFFECT: method provides accurate detection of injuries in cases when the fracture is not diagnosed by X-ray imaging.
