FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to radiation diagnostics, and can be used for detecting undiagnosed X-ray injuries of posterior pelvic semi-ring in patients with pubic bone fractures. Unconscious patient is examined for Glasgow score of consciousness disorder and performing pelvic X-ray. That is followed by assessing the patient's conscious presence of pain in the sacrum and painfulness of the posterior pelvic ring in palpation. If observing Glasgow score 10 points or less, absence of pelvic posterior pelvic injuries on the X-ray patterns, presence of pain in the sacrum and painfulness of the posterior pelvic semi-ring during palpation in the patient's consciousness, the computed tomography of the pelvis is considered to be indicated.

EFFECT: method provides higher accuracy of assessing the state of pubic bone after fracture due to a differentiated approach to prescribing a computed tomography of the pelvis, which enables to detect injuries of the pelvic rear half-ring, which is not diagnosed on the roentgenogram.
