FIELD: metal working.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to restoration of worn parts using welding and can be used the restoration of working bodies of tilling machines. Ball-bearing strip steel ShKh9, 12 mm wide, 5 mm thick, is used, the strips are cut to the size of the cutting part and welded parallel to the cutting part, hardening is executed by electric arc submerged surfacing with direct current of reverse polarity at a current strength of 160 to 225 A, diameter of the electrode wire 1.8 to 2.2 mm, voltage 30 to 33 V, surfacing rate 20 to 25 m/h and electrode wire supply rate 110 to 120 m/h, and electrode wire is used as a wear-resistant material with the following contents, % wt.: С - 1.8, Mn - 0.9, Si - 1.0, Al - 0.7, Cr - 9.2, Ni - 5.2, V - 0.6, Mo - 1.0, Fe the rest, wherein the thickness of the deposited layer is 1.8 to 2.2 mm, and the hardness thereof is 61 to 62 HRC.
EFFECT: invention allows improving hardness and wear resistance of the restored chisel under conditions of intense abrasive wear.
