FIELD: worn part repair.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of repair of worn parts with the use of welding and surfacing and can be used in the restoration of working bodies of tillage machines. The method includes the removal of the worn-out cutting-blade part of the bit, the manufacture of an overlay plate made of ball-bearing steel SHKH9 strip rolled with a width of 16 mm and a thickness of 5.5 mm, its welding to the restored bit and strengthening the surface of the overlay plate by surfacing over the entire surface area of the overlay plate wear-resistant material in the form of an electrode wire with a diameter of 2.2-2.4 mm and a certain composition by means of electric arc surfacing under a layer of flux with a direct current of reverse polarity with the appropriate mode.

EFFECT: use of the invention makes it possible to increase the hardness and wear resistance of the restored working body and, accordingly, to increase its durability.
