SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for treating Alzheimer's disease, progressive multiple sclerosis, severe stroke, cerebral and traumatic brain injury, parkinsonism, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis. Pressure chamber is filled with purified air at pressure of 1.1 ATA for 20 minutes 1–2 times a day daily. Additionally, cyclosporin A is administered famciclovir in a therapeutic dose or another antiviral preparation penetrating the blood-encephalic barrier. Before each session in the hyperbaric chamber, a session of electric tip stimulation by an autonomous non-invasive painless high-frequency electrostimulator is performed during the individual exposure time, not causing transient EEG changes. Duration of electrostimulator exposure is determined before the beginning of therapeutic course by positive EEG dynamics. Method may involve detecting and treating inflammatory diseases of the kidneys and other organs and accompanying diseases of the gastrointestinal tract: gastroduodenitis, celiac disease, colitis, diverticulosis, intestinal dysbiosis, detecting and treating slow chronic infections: toxoplasmosis, borreliosis and spirochetosis, as well as physical exercises and cognitive exercises.

EFFECT: method provides higher clinical effectiveness in neurodegenerative cerebral diseases ensured by exposure to excessive air pressure combined with an antiviral agent.
