METHOD FOR CORRECTION OF PSYCHOEMOTIONAL AND COGNITIVE DISORDERS BY BIOLOGICAL FEEDBACK IN PATIENTS WITH EARLY CEREBRAL MICROANGIOPATHY Russian patent published in 2024 - IPC A61B5/16 A61B5/369 A61B5/372

Abstract RU 2819166 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, particularly to neurology, psychology, neurorehabilitation. Electroencephalographic electrode is placed in the right occipital region of the patient. "training" mode is started at a frequency range of biofeedback of 9–13 Hz. Initial amplitude of the alpha rhythm is determined for the patient by the individual EEG signal of the patient, which is presented on the monitor in the form of a red column. Thereafter, the range of the amplitude of the alpha rhythm is set above the initial level to which the patient should strive. If the alpha rhythm index activity column is below the initial level, it will be red, when approaching the required alpha rhythm activity result, the column will be yellow, and when the signal level reaches the required result – green, when achieved, the patient receives a positive feedback in the form of a picture change into a relaxed picture. Further, the patient controls the relaxation picture and the signal level in an effort to establish long-term maintenance of the achieved relaxation state. Duration of training is 30 minutes, with frequency of trainings 3–5 times a week, training course consists of 15 trainings.

EFFECT: method provides more effective correction of psychoemotional and cognitive disorders in the patients with early cerebral microangiopathy.
