FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, particularly to urology, and aims at predicting the risk of recurrence of urolithiasis at the stage of primary calcium oxalate nephrolithiasis. In a preoperative patient, blood serum is examined for levels of parathyroid hormone-related protein (PTHrP), osteopontin, vitamin D. If values of PTHrP ≥ 31.8 pg/ml, osteopontin ≤ 0.6 ng/ml, vitamin D ≤ 12.1 ng/ml in complex predict high risk of recurrence of urolithiasis in postoperative period.
EFFECT: invention provides more accurate prediction of developing recurrent nephrolithiasis in patients with primary single- or bilateral nephrolithiasis.
