FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to orthopedic dentistry, and can be used for simulating the surface of an artificial palate of complete removable dentures. In the region of the anterior and middle one-third of the hard palate of the rigid base of the upper jaw, a recess is made, retreating 5 mm from the apex of the alveolar crest and 5 mm from the line of hard palate transition into the soft palate. A cut on the lingual side is made on a rigid base of the lower jaw, receding 5 mm from the edge of the oral boundary of the rigid base and 5 mm from the vertex of the alveolar ridge. Then, the palatine surface of the maxillary occlusion roll with a cutout and the lingual surface of the lower with the cutout are coated with a corrective layer of the silicone impression mass. Rigid bases are introduced into oral cavity of patient. Patient is asked to close mouth and press tongue to bottom of oral cavity, and after 20 seconds - to palate. After hardening of silicone mass, obtained artificial bases with wax rolls are removed from oral cavity.

EFFECT: method provides higher quality of orthopedic treatment, due to improved functional and phonetic properties of full plate dental prostheses, by forming anatomically correct form of palatal slope.
