FIELD: electrical equipment.

SUBSTANCE: embodiments of the present invention provide a ferrite core, a current coil of mutual inductance and a switch for protection against leakage currents. Ferrite core includes the first section formed by the first ferrite material, which has the first magnetic permeability, which varies with temperature. Ferrite core also includes a second portion formed by a second ferrite material different from the first ferrite material, wherein the second ferrite material has a second magnetic permeability, which varies with temperature. Ferrite core has a common magnetic permeability which varies with temperature. Total magnetic permeability is determined based on the first magnetic permeability, the second magnetic permeability, first portion of first section in ferrite core and second portion of second section in ferrite core. First portion and the second portion are set so that the total magnetic permeability is higher than the threshold in a given temperature range.

EFFECT: technical result is reduction of magnetic losses in core and improvement of characteristics of existing current coils of mutual inductance and switches of protection against leakage currents.
