FIELD: heating.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a current-collecting unit containing one or more composite current-collecting particles for induction heating of an aerosol-forming substrate under the action of an alternating magnetic field. To this end, each of said one or more current-collecting particles comprises a particle core and a particle shell in which the particle core is completely encapsulated. Particle core contains ferromagnetic or ferrimagnetic core material, having relative magnetic permeability of at least 200 at frequencies up to 10 kHz at temperature of 20 degrees Celsius, or particle core is made from this material. Particle shell contains electroconductive shell material or is made from this material.

EFFECT: improved efficiency of heating and improved possibility of temperature control.
