SUBSTANCE: cartridge is provided for use in the aerosol generating system. The aerosol generating system comprises an aerosol generating device, a cartridge configured to be used with the device. The device comprises a device body; inductance coil located on or inside the body; and a power source connected to the inductance coil and configured to supply a high frequency oscillatory current to the inductance coil. Cartridge includes a cartridge body containing a substrate, forming aerosol, and the grid pantograph, positioned to heat the substrate, forming aerosol. The substrate, forming aerosol, is liquid at room temperature and can form a meniscus in the voids of the grid pantograph.

EFFECT: possibility of providing a system which allows to use the replacement items to replenish substrate, forming aerosol, possessing a lower cost of manufacturing and being more reliable, at the same time more convenient for users, eliminating the need for soldered connections and provides an airtight device that can be easily cleaned.
