SUBSTANCE: invention relates to communication technologies. Method includes receiving a unit with access control and mobility management function to receive a first message sent by a node with session control function. First message bears first resuming indication. When the user equipment is in standby mode on the N3GPP side, the first resumption indication is stored by the access control and mobility management node. Receiving by means of a unit with access and mobility management function using the N3GPP access network the second message sent by the user equipment. Second message is a periodic registration request or a first service request. Third message is sent to a user equipment by means of a unit with access and mobility control function based on the first indication of renewal using the N3GPP access network. Third message indicates connection resumption for instructing user equipment to resume connection of PDU session.
EFFECT: technical result consists in the possibility of resuming the connection of the PDU session based on the type of radio access technology associated with the PDU session.
