FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of electric cleaning of gases from dust and fog in various industries and can be used in automatic control systems by regeneration of precipitation and discharge electrodes of electrostatic precipitators. Method is characterized in that during start-up of electric filter, at full dust load, average voltage value is measured for electric filter (Uav1.) and value of average current of electric filter (Iav1) and values are stored. Further, during operation of the electrostatic precipitator, these values are continuously measured and constantly compared with primary data. Defined relationship to recorded data Uav1/Iav1 = K1 and current data Uavc1/Iavc1 = K2. When ratio K2/K1 exceeds 1.2, regeneration of precipitating and discharge electrodes of this field of electrostatic filter is included.
EFFECT: higher degree of gas purification due to provision of automatic regeneration mode of electrodes.
