FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering and can be used in production of lithium accumulators with cathodes based on lithium-vanadium phosphate. Said result is achieved by increasing the dispersion of lithium-vanadium phosphate and increasing the diffusion coefficient of lithium, for which the method involves mixing vanadium oxide with ammonium dihydrogen phosphate and lithium hydroxide in dry form with subsequent mechanical activation and 2-stage thermal treatment at 750°C for 6.5 hours and at temperature of 750°C for 4 hours in an argon atmosphere, wherein at the first step, mixing the vanadium oxide with ammonium dihydrogen phosphate, and lithium hydroxide is added during plastic flow at torsion at a pressure of not less than 2.1 GPa and relative deformation values 21-23.
EFFECT: high technological effectiveness of the cathode manufacturing process with increase in its discharge capacity.
