FIELD: electrical industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering and can be used in production of lithium accumulators with cathodes based on lithium-iron phosphate. In the known method of producing the active mass of a lithium battery cathode, in which iron oxide is mixed with ammonium dihydrophosphate in a stoichiometric ratio, followed by thermal treatment at temperature of 400 °C for 4 hours and cooling to room temperature, mixing the intermediate product with lithium hydroxide, mechanical activation, followed by heat treatment and cooling to room temperature, mechanical activation is carried out in a planetary mill at a drum rotation speed of 450 rpm for 45 minutes, and subsequent heat treatment is carried out at temperature of 800 °C for 2 hours in an argon atmosphere, heating and cooling is carried out at rate of 5-10 deg/min.
EFFECT: invention is aimed at increasing the efficiency of the process of producing lithium-iron phosphate.
