FIELD: satisfaction of human vital needs.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for meeting human vital needs, more specifically to devices for disinfecting objects using physical phenomena, and can be used for preventive and focal disinfection of surfaces containing pathogenic biological agents, transmitted by airborne and/or contact mechanisms of infection transmission and threat of agent introduction, and intended primarily for use as support handles in public transport, handles of special ambulances, stationary support devices – rails, handles of stretchers for transportation of patients, handles of transport trolleys, for example, of supermarkets, airports, handles of doors and windows of infectious divisions and hospitals. Device with disinfected outer surface comprises hollow housing made of material transparent for radiation of LEDs arranged inside housing, reflector with cylindrical surface, power supply and control unit. Light-emitting diodes are used with working wavelengths of 315–390 nm, 400–480 nm and 900–3000 nm. Light power of light-emitting diodes and density of their location are selected based on the condition of radiation output from the housing surface of not less than 100 J/cm2.
EFFECT: invention is aimed at increasing disinfection efficiency.
