FIELD: lighting engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to lighting engineering and physiology of human vision, in particular to providing the most energy-efficient lighting of rooms, territories and spaces, provided that the human eye is scotopic adapted. Method involves the use of one or more LED monochromatic light sources. Wavelength of light is 507 (±10) nm, and the brightness level of the illuminated objects is up to 10-2 (≤10-2) cd/m2.
EFFECT: method provides a scotopic adaptation of the human eye, in which bacillary photoreceptors of amphiblestrodes are active.
