FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medical equipment, specifically to a portable UVC-device for generating and emitting UVC light on selected surfaces, localized zones and air surrounding the surfaces. UVC device comprises an emitting portion. Emitting portion is configured, when supplied with power, to provide light in the UVC spectrum for generating and emitting UVC light in the direction of the surface. UVC device has an activation area. Activation section is configured to provide selective activation of the emitting section for a period of time sufficient to generate and emit UVC light for surface disinfection. UVC device includes a visible light emitter. Visible light emitter is configured, when supplied with power, to emit visible indicators in order to indicate the area of the surface which is irradiated with UVC light. Visible markers are in focus when the portable UVC device is placed at the required distance from the surface to be disinfected. Visible indicators are out of focus when the emitting portion of the portable UVC device is not placed at the required distance from the surface to be disinfected. UVC device comprises a handle. Handle includes a gripping surface for the user to grip and hold the portable UVC device and directing the emitting portion towards the surface to be disinfected and emitting UVC light towards the surface to be disinfected. Device can be easily accessible and convenient for everyday use for an average consumer.
EFFECT: providing ultraviolet (UV) or UVC light in a portable and/or portable and/or disposable and/or rechargeable format, which can be used in everyday public environments to disinfect selected surfaces, localized areas and/or air surrounding surfaces, which is safe for people, while destroying pathogens.
