FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to medical splints. Splint is a structure consisting of two parallel metal thick rods rigidly interconnected by short transverse thin rods making straight angle with thick rods. Splint structure consists of three sections. Each of sections is two aluminium tubes of square profile interconnected in transverse direction by four pairs of coaxial short rods of tubular shape inserted into each other, one end of which is rigidly fixed in aluminium tubes of square profile. Rods of tubular shape of each section are covered with silicone tubes. Aluminium tubes of square profile are covered with foam pipe. In transverse rods of tubular shape there are holes for fixation of rods in width different positions in transverse direction. Sections are connected in series to each other by swivel connections of hinge type, which allow folding extreme sections relative to central section in longitudinal direction by "accordion" principle. Folded section is locked by two retainers.

EFFECT: possibility of accessing a wound in performing surgical interventions without disassembling the splint while ensuring compactness of the medical splint.
