FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to military medicine, in particular to devices used for temporary hemostasis from injured upper and lower extremities in wounded on battlefield. Hemostatic strap consists of a strap made of a band with standard twist with a retainer. Band is made from polymer material with width of 35 mm, withstanding temperature drops from minus 30 degrees to plus 50 degrees, not sensitive to sun rays, with inner ribbed surface, which allows to preserve microcirculation. Two parts of the ABS-plastic latch are attached to the ends of the band, attached to the band web by means of fixing loops and simple loops; on the side of one of the parts of the latch, the band attachment is movable.

EFFECT: invention can be used in special conditions (desert and highlands, regions of the Far North); it reduces the time of applying the strap in the upper and lower extremity injuries with one hand in the self-help order up to 10–12 seconds with minimal physical efforts with the possibility of dosing the compression without visual control and applying the strap directly to the skin without using additional materials, as well as minimizing complications in difficult evacuation conditions by preserving microcirculation.
