FIELD: medicine, namely traumatology. SUBSTANCE: splint has support for arrangement of victim's damage limb and lock designed to secure damage limb with respect to support. Support is made in form of two groups of stiff flat sections hinge-connected to each other. Sections may be made of frothed polyvinylchloride, for example. Each group contains at least two sections positioned along base. These sections in their turn have folded back side sections which are also hinge-connected in pairs in each group. Groups of sections are manufactured for coupling to each other at right angle and provided with stop for locking them in given position. Lock which secures damaged limb relative to support is made in form of at least two belts with sticky elements at their ends. Each of belts is fixed relative to one of base sections, one belt for each group of sections. Folding splint is convenient is operation. It reduces painful feelings of wounded people during transportation. EFFECT: high reliability of operation. 14 dwg
