FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to compressor building, particularly, to inlet valve for inlet of compressor element. Inlet valve comprises housing (17) with inlet (18) and outlet (19) and inner part (17b) that together with outer part (17a) forms flow passage (20) between inlet (18) and outlet (19). Flow channel (20) can be closed by means of valve (21). Valve (21) comprises piston (24) and locking element (25). Piston (24) is movable in housing (17) and is connected to outlet (19). Shutoff element (25) is formed by shut-off rod-piston (33) made with possibility of movement in piston (24) so that at rest shutoff element (25) is pressed by piston (24) to valve seat (23). Chamber (41) is formed between shut-off rod-piston (33) and piston (24), which can enter fluid communication with vessel (8) of high pressure and has pressure relief output (42) forming fluid communication between chamber (41) and inlet (18). Shutoff rod-piston (33) comprises bypass channel (44) connected to chamber (41) and side wall of locking rod-piston (33).

EFFECT: possibility of using one control valve to switch from operation with load to operation without load and to prevent condensation.
