FIELD: medical equipment.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a device in form of a dry powder cartridge and a dry powder inhalation system. Device comprises an elongated body having a front end and a rear end; a delivery cavity located at the front end of the body. Device includes a reservoir for powder located on rear end of housing. Device has a drum unit for powder measuring located in front of the powder container. Drum unit for powder metering comprises cylindrical outer drum and cylindrical inner drum insert with curved outer surface. Cylindrical outer drum is made with possibility of rotation along curvilinear outer surface of cylindrical inner insert. Drum assembly has a drive cap arranged at the front end of the housing, mechanically connected to the drum for measuring powder. Drum assembly includes a piston to advance a powder dose in a powder reservoir to the powder measuring drum. Dry powder inhalation system comprises a dry powder inhaler casing, a dry powder cartridge and a powder dose.

EFFECT: technical result is creation of dry powder inhaler with reservoir, which is able to accurately measure dry powder composition regardless of orientation and, accordingly, deliver deagglomerated dry powder for inhalation, while providing ease of use with separable structure.
