FIELD: furniture.

SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a seat module for use in furniture for sitting. Module comprises backrest (1), seat (2) and connection element (3). Connecting element (3) comprises two side walls secured by transverse elements, as well as rear slots (7) made on rear end of connecting element (3), and front grooves (9) made at connecting element (3) front end. At that, rear and front slots (7, 9) are located in corresponding side walls of connecting element (3). Back (1) contains holders (5) designed so that to enable engagement with the above rear slots (7) and sliding in these slots. Rear part of seat (2) is connected with backrest (1), and front part of seat (2) is connected with sliding unit (21, 23) made with possibility of sliding in front slots (9). Connecting element (3) of module comprises through holes (8) located in rear slots (7), and module of seat additionally comprises locking rod (12), made with possibility to pass through channels (22) in holders (5) and through holes (8) so that back (1) is locked relative to connection element (3). Sliding unit comprises sliding rod (21) with sliders (23) on each of ends, wherein sliders (23) are configured to engage with front slots (9). Spring (13) is fixed between crossbar (14) passing between side walls of connecting element (3) and said sliding rod (21). Seat (2) comprises rear recesses (10) configured to catch locking bar (12), and front recesses (11) configured to grip sliding rod (21).

EFFECT: described is a module for sitting.
