FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy, in particular to compositions of modifiers used to improve properties of castings from chrome-nickel dispersed hardening steels, which operate in conditions of intensive wear at high temperatures, used for making a hot-forming tool for various purposes, for example hot rolled rolls. Modifier contains, wt%: molybdenum 10-20, chromium 20-40, boron nitride 10-25, nickel - the rest.
EFFECT: invention increases grinding effect of dentritic structure of casts, provides higher hardness, heat resistance and wear resistance of metal while maintaining elastic properties in it.
