FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: flux-cored wire can be used for reduction and hardening of parts working for abrasion under conditions of impact of abrasive flow with large contact loads, in particular, conveying screws of extruders. Powder wire consists of steel shell and powder charge containing components in following ratio, wt%: nickel 7–9, manganese 5–7, molybdenum 2–4, ferrotitanium 2–4, ferrovanadium 2–4, ferroniobium 2–4, boron nitride 0.5–1.5, titanium diboride 1.0–2.5, zirconium diboride 0.5–1.25, sodium silicofluoride 0.5–1.0, iron powder 1.1–19.8, steel shell – balance. Composition of charge varies depending on deposition method including the alloying elements transition coefficients into the welded metal.
EFFECT: invention provides higher wear resistance of surfaced coatings.
